Today, September 16, temporary border controls have been introduced in Germany for six months at all land borders. The new inspections are a continuation of last year, when Germany increased border inspections at the borders with Poland, the Czech Republic, Austria and Switzerland.
The situation also affects road transport in Germany and Central Europe, as inspections and increased surveillance will delay traffic to and through Germany.
We are monitoring the development of the situation and will inform our customers as necessary. We strive to minimize transport delays and plan routes considering new information.
