Finnish Transport Workers’ Union AKT has announced a political strike that will close cargo traffic in ports for two weeks during 11.3. – 24.3.2024.

The stevedoring strike covers all ports and port operations in Finland, such as unloading, loading, receiving, and releasing units.
Only modules with driver are allowed on the ships, therefore the strike will especially affect road transport and reduce the transport capacity to / from Finland by sea.
CHS's warehouses are operating normally, but due to the port strike, there may be possible delays in the loads arriving and leaving the warehouses.
