The industrial action stops Finnish air traffic, ports, and several large factories. The strikes have significant effects on Finland's foreign trade and freight transport.
The industrial action (terminal and stevedoring industry) will start on Thursday 1 February 2024 at 00:01 and end on Saturday 3 February 2024 at 06:00. All vessel operations, terminal handling and depot handling are ceased during the strike. Terminals are expected to be congested prior and after the strike.
All major airports in Finland are involved in industrial action between Thursday 1 February 2024 at 00:01 and on Friday 2 February 2024 at 24:00. In practice, air traffic stops completely on February 1-2.2024 in Finland.
