The backlog caused by strikes continues

Situation update on the aftereffects of the long-running political strike.

The stevedores' strike in Finland ended on April 8, but the overcrowded ports are still recovering from the congestion. Due to this, there will be delays in the export and import of sea and road freight for several more weeks.

The port strikes generally increased the demand for air freight. Otherwise, the strike did not have a major impact on air cargo. However, we recommend that you also make your air cargo bookings well in advance during this time. More information about air freight from chs.fi page: https://chs.fi/palvelut/lentorahti/

We are doing everything we can to minimize the delays to our customers' deliveries caused by the situation. Thank you for your patience. If you have any questions or concerns, please feel free to reach out to us.
Thank you for your cooperation.
